Week 21: RI Framing

With the windows in, we can really see the cool feature of the front cantilevered office.  It's going to look amazing when the exterior cladding is complete.

Miguel and his team were in for a couple of days this week completing all of their Rough In framing tasks.  We are getting ready for the insulation phase soon.

Week 20: Windows

A&J Windows arrived Friday to start their window installation.  The weather has delayed the installation, though work has proceeded regardless of the windows.  Still, it will feel a little bit more comfortable in the house now that we are closed in.

Week 19: Electrical RI

Kevin and Josh have been working away on the 2nd floor electrical plan (now that HVAC is finished up there), as well as preparing for the movement of the service to the other side of the house.  It will now be located in the bonus storage room behind the garage.  Bonus because the plans called for a crawlspace, but by the time we got below the frost level, it was a better idea to make the room a fully functional storage space.

Week 18: HVAC Rough-in

Pinewood began their HVAC rough-in, starting with the 2nd floor attic distribution system that will be fed by a vertical riser coming out of the basement.
