Week 16: Basement Insulation
If I thought it was cozy before in the basement, this week got a lot warmer! With record chills outside, we were working in t-shirts in the basement. The walls got a treatment of continuous 1.5" rigid insulation. The framed wall (example shown below) will sit in front of this wall and get additional batt insulation.

Week 15: Basement concrete
Daniel from Fosscon prepped the basement floor by doing some more leveling and installing the 2" rigid insulation and vapour barrier. The next day, he poured the basement floor. Ahh... clean, warm and cozy down there now!

Week 14: City upgrade
With the basement slab out, now was the time to do the City water upgrade to a 1" service. We got really lucky with the weather!
