Week 8: Framing begins

Well, this week was a great week.  I had to move a ton of pieces and have new people work well with each other in order to get things done... and they went off without a hitch!

Almost to the point of losing a little sleep was the problem of how to get the helicle pile machine (think:  a giant screw drilled into the earth to prevent upward or downward movement of the object that sits on top of the screw!) into the open basement of the site.

With a little scrambline and ingenuity, Miguel and the guys from Goliath Tech were able to get the job done.  See these pictures to get an idea of the complexity...

The remainder of the week was relatively easy (for me) and warm (for me!).  Miguel and his team plowed through the framing.  Once the metal work of the front cantilevered office was complete, the rest of the framing continued smoothly.
